The following article from Yahoo! news states our country's intention to push "hard" for Mid-east peace talks in 2010. The question I have after reading the article is, who are we going to push hard? Will both sides be pushed, or is this code for pushing Israel to make concessions on land and settlements?
I have said it before, and I will say it again; we as a nation must not put ourselves in a position of pressuring Israel to give up land promised to them by God. History has shown that things do not go well for those nations who oppress Israel or God's chosen people. We should all pray for our leaders to see the need to support Israel.
