One of the four horsemen of the apocalypse found in Revelation is the black horse. This is the horse that foretells coming food shortages and food rationing. Living in the land of abundance, it's sometimes hard to picture how this could come about.
The following article explains how some are already making plans for global food rationing. Interestingly enough, some see the possible future food rationing as a means of instituting global government. Something that will come as a result of the preceding horse, the white horse a.k.a. the Antichrist.
It's easy to focus on Israel when reading the signs of the times. They are constantly in the news and many key signs appear like they could be getting ready to be fulfilled.
