Early steps to a one-world currency

Another nation, this time France, is push for less reliance on the U.S. dollar as the world's reserve currency. France now joins China and Russia as nations who have suggested it may be time to change the world financial order.

As calls like this from nations increase, it leads us closer and closer to the time when the world financial system will be under the control of one man and will use one currency.

The Biblical implications of this do not change or cover up the fact that any move from the U.S. dollar the the world's reserve currency would have devastating effects on the U.S. economy. Since the U.S. is not mentioned in Biblical prophecy, could a move away from the dollar play a part in the decline of the U.S. as a world power as we approach the end?
